“Thursday night, we gathered in the garden marquee at the residence of the Nigerian High Commissioner to the UK, Ambassador Sarafa Ishola, for the unveiling of an enthralling new book titled "The Number One Mission."

Authored by my friend, real estate expert Yemi Edun, the man behind London's prominent property acquisition and consultancy company, Daniel Ford who have transacted deals in excess of £650 million in the UK.

The book delves into the high commission's history since its establishment in 1960 after Nigeria gained independence from British colonial rule.

Edun's narrative skillfully uncovers the hidden stories, facinating facts, people, and relationships that have shaped the commission, highlighting the brief, but impactful transformative two-year tenure of the now-recalled High Commissioner.

"The Number One Mission" offers an intriguing and eye-opening journey for those curious about diplomacy, culture, and identity”
